Former Oilers safety Bo Eason is a writer/actor now
My Sunday newspaper column is about Bo Eason and his semi-autobiographical one-man play, "Runt of the Litter," about his family, his life in football and his relationship with his older brother, Tony, a former quarterback for the Patriots and Jets.
Bo has moved to Tribeca for the duration of the open-ended run, along with his wife, Dawn, who as Dawn Radenbaugh once had a three-episode acting run on "Melrose Place," and their children, ages 3 and 1.
The marketing challenge here is going to be getting football fans to go to the theater and theater fans to watch something about football. But it's worth checking out for people in both of those parallel universes.
I'm going to go now to give you time to catch up on that story as well as my various YouTube links.
