Eagles' Jimmy Johnson gets lotta love from Fox crew
Barry Horn says Fox mentioned Eagles defensive coordinator Jimmy Johnson 18 times Sunday, which actually is less than Troy Aikman had predicted. Imagine if he had been coaching from the sideline instead of the press box.
(Johnson, nursing a bad back, hobbled into the interview room in the Jets locker room. He guessed he probably will not return to the sideline for the title game.)
Aikman had his usual solid outing Sunday, by the way. Now he returns to Arizona, site of the Cowboys-Cardinals game in October that led Boomer Esiason (and others) to accuse him of pro-Dallas bias.
The Cowboys will not be joining him this time, so there should be no such trouble.

And speaking of FOX, this is a little creepy... http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/01/foxs_mccarver_buck_aikman_got_us_marshals_escort_f.php
Is it baseball season yet????
Aikman solid outing? He never says anything meaningful, and also possesses horrible grammatical skills. The very definition of a guy in a position with such a high profile based completely on his high profile playing career. He brings nothing to a broadcast.
