Our Peacock friends at NBC have taken my recent advice and decided for a third consecutive week to get Tiki Barber out of the studio and have him report directly from a Giants game, deeply mysterious, well-connected sources familiar with the plans tell WatchDog.

Not only that, but Barber is sitting down with Eli Manning for an interview that will air Sunday before the game.

Manning famously took a verbal shot at Barber during training camp in 2007.

If Barber can pry anything close to that interesting out of Manning during this week's interview, he deserves an Emmy.
