One day after Don Wakamatsu was named manager of the Mariners, the MLB Network named Joe Magrane, Wakamatsu's teammate on the 1983 Alaska Goldpanners, as an analyst.
Another '83 Goldpanner, Barry Bonds, is a long-shot for a managing or TV job.
