Channel 11 adds an unnecessary 'c' to Boland's name
One more thing about that Ch. 11 pregame show Thursday night:
They spelled Erik Boland's first name "Erick."
Former Jets beat writer Ken Berger's ghost must have been haunting the telecast trying to make Boland look bad. Or maybe it was T-Rock.
Berger is leaving the staff soon to pursue new opportunities, by the way. He will be missed by readers, of course, and also by Stephon Marbury, who once hugged him at Knicks practice (and on the back page of Newsday), and Laveranues Coles, who once called him "little media man."
He always was a big media man to us!

neil, has an athlete eve hugged you? and if so, was it that weird?
I have been hugged by athletes many times. Probably most memorable was former Giants offensive lineman Roman Oben hugging me after Bucs beat Eagles in NFC title game at Vet. I do not recall offhand ever being hugged by a female athlete.
