Jay Glazer is fount of football facts for Fox folks

35194090.jpgFox's Jay Glazer will be in action Sunday.

The Giants' Plaxico Burress will not, thanks to a suspension that Glazer reported first.

So I figured I might as well write about Glazer, not Plax, for my Sunday newspaper column.

guys like jay glazer are so 80"s and 90"s,another unintresting column. what has happened to you?

Please, Chris Mortensen if anything is far past his times. Glazer gets all the stories first and it is mostly he close relations to other players. He was the only person to report and report first that Tony Gonzalez was told he possibly had a condition that could have very-well killed him. Players trust Glazer that is why he should be the most trusted by anybody who wants NFL news. Plus he gets kudos for slaying the dragon ESPN on the Brett Favre story.

neil, you are stuck in the past man, readers want fresh and new stories, not some useless info on a football hack who likes violence, they are a dime a dozen. pick it man,you have been slipping with your weekly work on all fronts.

Neil: Nice story about Jay Glazer, especially the part where he camped out in the media room. But, no word here on the blog about Cornell's last play win over Lafayette yesterday? It even made the highlights on ESPN - I thought you'd be crowing about that by now!

It was against Lehigh!

4th and goal from the 20 with :04 on the clock, Nathan Ford found Jesse Baker (touchdown maker?) in the corner of the end zone for a one-point win.
