Hank Greenberg, A-Rod, Al Rosen . . . nice infield!
I'm no expert on kabbalah, and I don't want to be, but I do know this:
If Madonna really has lured Alex Rodriguez into that circle, I am officially snagging him to fill the long-challenging shortstop position on my all-time Jewish All-Star team.
Lou Boudreau didn't belong there anyway, as even though his mother was Jewish he was raised Christian.
Al Rosen is entrenched at third base, so it's time for A-Rod to go back to his natural position.
Thanks, Mrs. Ritchie!

At this rate, American Airlines will soon be charging 15 bucks to check your copy of
Famous Jewish Sports Legends.
Buddy Myer (2,000-plus hits) did play the early part of his career as a shortstop, and could qualify for your team there if you don't mind the two 40-error seasons. And what was Eddie Zosky, chopped liver?
The Bill James Historical Baseball Abstract says Buddy Myer may not have been Jewish. Shortly before he died he told that he wasn't, he was German, but the writers thought he was. Myer didn't think being German was something to be proud of at the time so he never set the record straight.
