As of midnight, I surpassed my father in longevity. So from here on in, I'm playing with house money.
I celebrated the big night by playing in a doubleheader in the mud, going 2-for-2 with a walk and a sacrifice fly. (We split.)
Then I joined my teammates for fermented malt beverages.
