George Carlin on Kiner's Korner . . . 'nuff said
YouTube god John Philips is at it again. Here is George Carlin on Kiner's Korner.
Wow. As revolutionary comedians go, this guy really knows his baseball.
I can't do any better blogging than this post. So I'm done for today.
Enjoy "My Boys" on TBS. I think on tonight's episode they might actually show sportswriters at work instead of drinking and playing poker.
(UPDATE: Oops. I messed up in a big way. "My Boys" is on Thursday, not Wednesday. My bad.)

My Boys? Is it Thursday already?
A classic, a marvel, thanks to all those posted it (pray Selig doesn't yank it). As far as Kiner's amalysis of "the Yankees won because of luck, not quite. The Dodger players were mostly righthanded except for Snider (lefty) and Gilliam (switcg). The yankees had a mixture of righties (DiMaggio, Bauer, Martin). lefties (Yogi, Woodling, Mize) and switch hitters (Rizzuto, Mantle). Hard throwing Yankee righthanders like Reynolds, Raschi, Page and Sain could handle the righties, lefties Lopat and Ford were very smart and moved the ball around. The Dodgers were used to the bandbox Ebbets Field but the Yankees could adapt with the games split 10-9 in favor of Brooklyn. But once the Dodgers moved to Yankee stadium, the flyballs they hit that went out in Ebbets were routine flyballs in "death valley". The Yankee hitters were more familiar with how to hit in a pitcher's park and they won 14 out of 18 games in the Bronx. Truth, justice and the Yankee way prevailed every time except for 1955.
If Carlin had mentioned that, I would be impressed.
I think My Boys is tomorrow night, Neil. Because of you, I've been checking it out. Jordana Spiro is definitely cute.
thanks that was great!
He could'nt remember the winners during the drug years...Hilalrious...Thanks Neil and John
George Carlin: Hippy Dippy Weatherman LOL
SNY needs to show my generation old classic footage from Kiner's Korner like this one. It would be a great watch over seeing a re-run marathon of Beer Money.
Wow... great stuff... Carlin had an everyman, congenial quality to him. Didn't know he was a huge Brooklyn Dodger fan.
