Chris Russo opens show addressing his status
Chris Russo opened his show today with an impassioned non-denial denial of my Sunday story that he and Mike Francesa might break up this summer, citing the fact he is under contract with WFAN, as is Mike.
I will transcribe it later.

At no point during Chris' Monday rebuttal did he say that he had spoken to Mike Francesa regarding the article or try to denounce Francesa's possible involvement regarding the leak. He also never explicitly said that he wants to stay at WFAN. All he discussed was his willingness to ride out his contract.
Chris did say they could never get rid of me here and emphasized CONTRACTS!
He said he wasn't going anywhere he never said anything about Mike. To me this isn't even a denial. Francesa needs to speak up.
Dog bought up a point that he and Mike had a meeting with Mark Chenoff about their behavior on the air. He did metion that he and Mike are under contract with the station for a extended period of time, and that WFAN still wants them.
obviously mike could of at least been on at the same time and address it at the same time. all this did was make people wonder more. of course chris had to address it.
Neil, why do you feel it is a Non-denial denial?

I'm sure Francesa will have his say on this issue on Friday when he is next on the air.
Didn't hear it. -hand wave-
Oh dear god no, he's not going to be home more is he???

When you get a chance could you link to your review of his book? Sounds like he really appreciated your review!
Does anyone else besides me think that Francesca and Russo look like the 2 guys I was stranded with on the desert island?
As long as the alimony keeps coming, I don't care what happens.
good......Francesa is a self important blowhard who spends half his waking life reminding everyone of how important he is. ...
he treats people with no respect and I don't like it.
Hey, I can't be bothered listening to some fat guys opinion on sports. Francesca is the uber bully on the radio. He never lets anyone finish a sentence, he cuts them off or steals their thunder. I would rather read a book on the whale industry in Nantucket in the 1800s.
