Willie Randolph presser tonight not like dental surgery
Reiber reports that Willie seemed much less miserable than usual when meeting with the media before tonight's Marlins-Mets tilt.
Hmm. What's up with that?
Maybe he got some advice from an old friend who will bring his new team to Shea this weekend.

It's amazing for Torre that even though he's no longer in NY, he still gets to do commercials for here.
Of course Willie was gonna be more comfortable....he had a captive audience that was not gonna jeopardize their own careers in front of a room full of witnesses with multiple recording devices..
I've never heard of an athlete who ever successfully defended themselves in a one on one "he said/she said", "off the record/on the record" dispute with an individual member of the media.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
