Hey Neil, how insane is this. The Pistons will play the Celtics in the Eastern Confernce Finals on Saturday and Monday for Games 3 & 4 in Detroit. The same 2 days the Red Wings will play the Penguins in Detroit for Games 1 & 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. And here's the kicker, both the Red Wings and Pistons are playing at the same time. How's that possible? You should write about this in your blog or write an article in Newsday.
As for Willie, I listern to what he said with Mike and Chris. He pretty much explain everything and apology for the detraction.

Dennis they don't play in the same arenas, or the same city and they probably don't play to the same fans.

Both the Red Wings and Pistons are playing at the same time. Wings at 8 p.m., Pistons at 8:30 p.m. It will be interesting to see what the ratings will be in Detroit for those 2 games.

Dennis: Was going to mention this in Friday column. Thanks for tip, though! Neil

Speaking of things on at the wrong time......

Was anyone watching the YES broadcast of the Yanks/O's tonight?
Top of the 3rd inning?
One out?
Overheard in the "pressbox", over Singleton, was the classic tape of Earl Weaver giving his infamous profanity laced pre-game show.
from many years ago.
One big bad word was clearly heard all the way out here two time zones away.
There was a silence on the air, as SOMEONE turned the audio down in the pressbox and then Singleton came back on after one of those "pregnant silences" in what I can only describe as a "laughing voice".
Priceless.

Thanks for the tip. Islander505. I just listened to it. Hilarious.
