Will Allen solves tube socks problem, confronts others

maravich.htmSome troubling news out of Florida involving former Giants cornerback Will Allen, who reportedly might have some issues with gambling debts.

I hope not.

My family forever will be grateful to Allen for convincing me one year in training camp that it was time to stop wearing dorky suburban dad tube socks with shorts and instead switch to 21st century-approved ankle socks.

I'm teetering on the edge here of losing my mind and my readers.

Sorry. I need to re-focus before our other, more relevant blogs catch me from behind and flatten me forever in the page views standings, which at this point I would fully deserve.

If only he had spent less time giving you fashion advice and more time learning to catch a football he might have a Super Bowl ring right now.

Tom Coughlin accurately expressed concern about Will's ability to follow a ball in the air and then secure it, which he most assuredly could not do on a consistent basis.
