Yes. Too much time. But that's baseball. What would have been so wrong with just sticking with the much more benign Rock-Paper-Scissor?
If it had to go to Cowboy-Indian-Snake, perhaps the Indian sign could have been the Tomahawk Chop instead of the hands up of surrender. But I guess they did take the offer of being given land as opposed to being slaughtered. I suppose that is surrendering.
