Jay-Z hopes to bring some luck to Nets in lottery (Watchdog)

Jay-Z will represent the Nets at Tuesday night's NBA Draft Lottery in Secaucus.

The "event" will be televised live by ESPN before Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.

"This is very exciting and I hope my nickname ‘Lucky Lefty’ holds up," Carter said in a Nets news release.

The Swamp Dragons have a 1.1 percent chance of securing the first overall pick.

The Knicks have a better chance than that.
