Big Brown delivers publicity for UPS

BigBrownFront.jpgI wrote an article for the Thursday newspaper about UPS' sponsorship of Big Brown.

You could read it right here right now if you are interested.

One secret to popular blogging is a predictable schedule of posting. But that's not me. I blogged very little Tuesday, blogged a lot Wednesday and will blog very little Thursday.

Thanks for your patience. This inconsistency will continue as long as my editors insist on me writing a newspaper column thrice weekly.

Maybe they can stage a match between Big Brown and the other athlete they sponsor, Dale Jarrett. Since Jarrett drives for Michael Waltrip, my money is on the nag. Unless MWR uses that illegal fuel like they did in the 2007 Daytona 500 qualifying.
If the horse loses, will he be sold for food in Japan like Ferdinand was?

Some Preakness-related worries ...
NBC plans to show Game 5 of the NHL Western finals [Dallas at Detroit] Saturday at 1:30pm ... if the game runs long or goes into overtime ... will the NHL and NBC embarrass themselves once again and pull a semi-Heidi ... and put the finish on Versus?

Great call Dumont.

I'm looking forward to an exciting 4 OT game (strictly as a fan of hockey).

Long enough so Glauber can fly out 2 time zones away and watch the end of it my house...(the Hebrew Nat's might be a tad dry by then....but we can always fire up some green chile burgers).
