Mark Jackson leaves YES, perhaps to join Knix?

jaxson.jpgMark Jackson announced during the Nets-Celtics tilt Wednesday night that he would not be returning to YES next season.

Jackson's contract was expiring, and he told YES execs after the game that he had wearied of being away so frequently from his family, which is based in L.A.

Still, his decision added fuel to rampant speculation he is in the mix to manage or coach the Knickerbockers.

We shall soon see, presumably.

Good luck, Mark.

He thinks LA to the Swamp is bad? Wait until he adds Rt. 3 and the Lincoln Tunnel to that commute (sarcasm)!!!!
