OK, now I'm really confused.

Charles Barkley said on the phone Tuesday his pick for MVP would be either Kobe Bryant or Chris Paul, depending on whose team had the better record.

Then the Lakers finished with the better record.

Then TNT e-mailed a chart Thursday listing its announcers' award picks. Barkley had Paul for MVP.

I wrote about all this in my Friday newspaper column.

Then Barkley appeared on WFAN this afternoon and said Kobe is his MVP because the Lakers finished with a better record.

Yo, TNT, help!
