Harold Reynolds, formerly of the Alaska Goldpanners, Seattle Mariners and ESPN, and currently of MLB.com, has joined SNY as a part-time studio analyst, the network will announce this morning.
Reynolds will make his debut Friday night on the pre- and post-game shows for Mets-Braves, the first of about 20 appearances this season.
Lee Mazzilli, the network's lead studio analyst, works about 85 games. Darryl Strawberry, who was hired earlier this month, will handle 15-20.
Reynolds, a popular studio analyst for ESPN from 1996-2006, was fired amid allegations of sexual harassment.
Later, he sued the network. The sides reached a settlement last week.
Reynolds has worked for MLB.com since last summer.

Whoa......nice unies......looks like someone got some PJ's on sale at Fred Meyer's, cut the footsies off and had a 1st grader attach Alaska on 'em.
At least the Glacier Pilots were stylin.
That is a great hire. I am very glad to see Harold back on TV. I would be more apt to watch SNY now with Reynolds in the fold. Baseball Tonight has fallen far since his departure.
agreed tom. he seemed like he had a good time doing the job. espn is ridiculous. tirico from what ive heard has done way worse than a stupid hug.
Reynolds, Maz, and Straw all on SNY. Why would one ever go to the boys from Bristol for baseball insight. Albeit for Gammon, ESPN is a bunch of windbags. Now all we need is Rob Dibble!
Go Mets!
Neil, we need some Imus news to jazz up the site. Its been to long and too many snoozer postings lately.
Maz is a good guy but the studio needs a little more style and pizzaz. Love HR. ESPN's handling of the situation was hypocritical and completely uneven compared to how they kept some guys on the payroll for doing far worse. The way Keith Olbermann treated Suzy Kolber and the way he denounces football players by throwing out "wearing dresses" schtick makes me wonder how the hell is he a liberal?
how does EVAN ROBERTS feel tonight considering he is basically the only talking head at WFAN NOT TO be on the air at sny. at least he can still hand out with tony page and steve summers. and i love the connection that harold reynolds has with the mets. he enjoyed a stellar career in flushing

Lori Rubinson in the old DNL was actually on a couple of times. She was flaunting her Brown degree saying big words the other boys couldn't understand. Some unintentional comedy there.
Good for HR! He got completely screwed by ESPN. The guys they have on "Baseball Tonight" are all horrible now, except for Kruk. Welcome aboard, Harold!
