Another blog trespasses on TV beat, WatchDog shrugs

oscarmadison.jpgLooks like my friends at The Final Score are encroaching on my territory.

That's OK. We're all one, big happy blogging family here at Newsday. And now I can stop blogging for the rest of the day without feeling guilty.

But I must say I am shocked and disturbed by Jim Baumbach's admission that he never has watched an episode of "The Odd Couple" or "The Honeymooners."

Which means this guy is either too young for his own good or grew up in Idaho.

Sheesh. At least Glauber is older than I am, much like Flavor Flav.

There's a simple explanation for that.....Clearly...spending time viewing those icons of American TVland folklore would have taken quality time away from toggling the Joy Stick of his Gameboy.

And as far as "encroaching your territory"....welcome to the club....Super Mario and Pac-Woman from their Only Score have been trying to hijack readers all week from the Yankees, Mets, Islanders and Ranger blogs.
I already sent an e-mail to Logan advising him to keep his wife and exotic animals out of their zip code.
You'd be wise to do the same.

It's interesting to note that Chip and Dale have not taken a run at Glauber's market share this week...
Either Glauber presents a physical presence that intimidates them or excites them to the point of insecure shyness.....or Baumbach got an overdose of testosterone induced creativity while in PHX during Super Bowl week.

Neil, I'm confused...any mention of a TV show involving a fictional sports writer is in your jurisdiction? What exactly is your jurisdiction anyway?

Whoops.....
Watchdog might not have shrugged, but it appears that Atlas did.

Anthony:
Dude, EVERYTHING is in my jurisdiction. That is why I am stressed and depressed and my back hurts. I'm too old for this job. I should be teaching journalism at the local community college.
