Look at the bright side, everyone. I'm only the second most annoying Cornell alum in the media . . . if you count fictional sitcom characters.
As a reward for your patience, I shall not mention the Big Red again until after Thursday's upset of Stanford.

We have accepted 36 buyouts in the newsroom, avoiding the need for layoffs.
It is always difficult to say goodbye to friends and colleagues, and it is
certainly more trying these days. Thank you for working so diligently
through the past several weeks of uncertainty.
Most of those who are leaving will be working through the end of the month.
Please join us at 4 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium to bid our colleagues
farewell and good luck.
