JOHNNY MILLER ON TIGER: "As far as fire in the belly, there are some guys that definitely want it, it's just that Tiger not only wants it but he's got the talent to go with it and the hard work. There's about a six-part harmony that it takes to become a superstar. Tiger, unfortunately for the field, has more intelligence than any golfer ever, he's probably more fit than any golfer ever, he's probably got more talent than any golfer ever and the 'choke factor' is better than any golfer ever.

"If Sergio putted like Tiger, he would be almost as good as Tiger, but Sergio doesn't putt like Tiger. The same thing could be said for Adam Scott. He's got the game but he doesn't putt anywhere near like Tiger does. The only way you're going to beat Tiger is you're going to have to have somebody with some big power. I don't know who that is. It's like racing a regular Corvette versus a Z06 Corvette. You're just not going to beat the Z06 because it has 100 more horse power."

DAN HICKS ON THE TIGER FACTOR: "Even the not so crazy golf fan wants to know where Tiger is all the time, because Tiger is probably the most popular athlete in the world. There's electricity when he's there, and when he is not in contention there is a little bit of a deflated feeling."

HICKS ON TIGER'S DOMINATION: "He's on a totally different planet playing wise, a totally different level mentality wise, and a totally different level on every level. Let's enjoy it because I don't think you're ever going to see anybody else like this, certainly in our lifetimes."

ROGER MALTBIE ON TIGER: "He only cares about one thing, winning. Nothing else means anything to him. Nothing else. He doesn't carry the baggage that all the other players carry."

MILLER ON TIGER'S PUTTING: "Starting last summer, his putting has been surreal. You just can't putt as good as he's putting. He's played this well from tee to green, but his putting is off the charts."

HICKS ON TIGER AND A PERFECT SEASON: "It's crazy that we're talking about a perfect season in golf. It's absolutely nuts. Is it going to happen? Probably not, and I think Tiger knows that. As long as he can keep this wave going, he'll ride it. He'll ride the possibility of that happening. He's the guy who alluded to it at the start of the season, that the Grand Slam was possible, and lo and behold look at where we are. The guy hasn't lost yet and has quite a streak going. If he wins at Bay Hill it's going to get ratcheted up even more. I think it really is silly to think about a perfect season, but Tiger has played so well and has done so many incredible things that here we are talking about it.

"We've probably all said something in our careers about something being impossible, and then Tiger has proved us wrong."

DOTTIE PEPPER ON WATCHING TIGER FROM UP CLOSE: "There are minimal mistakes. He manages to make the putts that really matter so his mistakes become minimized. I've never seen anybody putt from inside 10 feet like Tiger. It's almost as if he wills the ball like 'you wouldn't dare miss.' He gets himself into a place where there is a glassy look where he's just not anywhere but in the moment, and it's pretty special to stand out there and watch."

MILLER ON IF TIGER CAN REACH 25 MAJORS: "I think that once he beats Nicklaus' record, I don't know if he gets to 20, 21, or 22, he's liable to say it's time to hit the Privacy yacht."

PEPPER ON IF TIGER'S DOMINATION IS GOOD FOR GOLF: "This guy plays with a mentality that doesn't need a rival. It's all an internal push. From our perspective, we sit there and just say 'wow,' because he doesn't need anybody else except his own push."

MILLER ON WHAT PUSHES TIGER: "If you've noticed when anybody comes close to Tiger, whether it's Vijay or Phil or whomever, he tries to dislike that person. He obviously plays a lot of attention to his rivals."

MALTBIE ON IF TIGER DOMINANCE IS GOOD FOR GAME: "I think it's part of a warrior mentality and a me against you and I'm going to win. It's important to have that rivalry. Look at Jack and Arnold, obviously two great champions. That drove the whole golf business. It's important to have a Phil challenge and get his share of licks in and win every now and then. I thought last year at Deutsche Bank was huge. It was a great day for golf because Phil finally came out on top in a head-to-head situation. I think that would be very healthy for the game."
