I'm not positive where I first saw this very amusing clip referenced. I'm going to assume it was Awful Announcing. I know how annoyed the blogosphere gets when credit is not properly given for being first on these things.
Anyway, I'm hoping this clip isn't somehow doctored, because as presented it is difficult to believe.
On the other hand, as I always tell people, whatever you might think about Mike Francesa and Chris Russo, filling 27.5 hours of week by blabbing about sports is much more difficult than it appears.
Thus, on occasion, Mike, um, might tend to repeat himself. Just a little.

Francessa has always been down on Wright's defense it's ridiculous. Oh and his love of Inge cannot top his love for Jay Gibbons who he kept on saying the Mets should trade Piazza for him.
Inge's is an average player, he's not Wright, he's not even a washed-up Delgado. What interests me in this clip, since I dont see YES, is how bored and disinterested both these guys are. Very clearly they wish they were somewhere else. People have to be watching this everyday just out of amusement to see if either one of them falls asleep during the show. They are absolutely stealing money from CBS. And wasting their time as well as yours.
True on boredom. How many times must Russo harp on the Mets #5 starter and compare their numbers to his beloved, last-place, carpetbagging Giants?
I remember seeing this live then seeing Mike'd Up two days later on Sunday. On NBC, he again talked about how the Mets have to go after Inge, etc etc..I like him A LOT, etc etc. No credit given to Bob from E. Greenbush, NY (of course)
I'm confused ... does Mike like Brandon Inge or not?
It was painfully not doctored. I was listening live I think it was around 4-6 on Friday March 14.
And by the end I was cringing. And I love how he says, "I cant put him there." Ummmm MIke you're not the Manager or GM of the Mets, you cant put any Met anywhere.
david wright is a 25 year old .311 hitter who hit over 100 rbi's the past 3 seasons and won the gold glove last year
then you have brandon inge a 31 year old utility man with a career .241 average who only had over 80 rbi's once in his career
great comparison
Hey Mets fan morons,
He is talking about Inge the DEFENSIVE player over Wright... dummies. Obviously he doesn't refer to Inge being a better offensive player. You think Wright deserved that gold glove? Hardly..
