Cornell draws first-round cakewalk over team from West
This is going to be way easier than I ever dreamed, so easy I'm willing to overlook being given a No. 14 seed rather than the No. 13 I insisted upon last week.
You heard it here first: In the first round Cornell will . . . cover the spread.
And congratulations to the Cornell women for the first NCAA berth in that program's history.
Holy cow. I thought I went to a hockey school.

the only way cornell can win is for the band to come on the court.
Go Big Red! Neil, I think they can pull this one off. Stanford isn't that great.
You know you have a gambling problem when you bet money on a Cornell vs Stanford basketball game. What is it students at Cal Tech games shout when their team is losing big..
"That's okay, it's no fuss.
Somdeay soon you will be working for us."
Of course I went to school at the University of Rochester in 1978 when the men's basketball team played UNC at Chapel Hill. The Yellow Jackets head coach turned to address his starters after the national anthem and found four of them were at the UNC bench getting Phil Ford's autograph.
Stanford has shown they can lose to unknown teams in recent time. They did lose to Siena earlier in the season. But then again the not-as-good Lopez twin was academically ineligible.
Cornell is going to upset Stanford, and then beat Kentucky to go to the Sweet Sixteen (where they will get pummeled by Texas.) Go ahead and laugh. You'll see!
The Cornell women didn't fair as well, drawing UConn in the first round.
