I can only hope that my road-tripping Islanders were in the stands taking notes.
And you're right Neil, Crystal better man up and drill someone tomorrow.
I saw the photo of the "take out" by Duncan. He cleated Iwamura in "the place of the male anatomy". Totally bush league. What a twat. No matter how old school his father Dave may be, I think even he would think that take out was out of bounds.
Yeah CMG, I agree.....those photos are pretty damning.
Not so much where the cleats wound up.....(the male anatomy) but the fact that the 1st shot shows the cleats open and high and aimed right at the shins.....a clear no-no in the world of baseball.
As much as I love Duncan's enthusiasm (?), he crossed a sacrosanct line there.
I think he'll miss a coupla games for that one and may well have put a bullseye on his back for the season.
I still love him and would take him on my team.....anyday.
i guess duncan was trying to prove himself to the team - that he's da man.
Man them Yankees be classy lately!! Examples you ask for?
States evidence is as follows:
A) Billy Crystal
B) Whining incessantly
C) Re-naming their spring training facility after a man who was KICKED out of baseball for proven ties with racketeers and people of general ill-repute
D) A-rod
I can keep going but seriously they lost all sense of "class" starting with mega crybaby Paul O'Neill and topped it off with Randy Levine demanding the the "Devil Rays" forfeit a series due to hurricane related woes in Tampa. The forfeiture was due to the Yanks being inconvienced by Tampas' players having the audacity to evacuate their families. Case closed.
When I see Duncan I see 'roid rage. And extremely high testosterone levels.
Sandy, that is logical given the man and organization his dad works for. I like Shelley, inexcusable play aside. But I expect such bush league scummy crap from anyone growing up under the influence of Tony La, the drunk driving, drug enabling, steroids excusing piece of garbage that he is.
Wow Craig......
So.... tell us how you feel about LaRussa as a field manager?
