Craig Carton and Boomer Esiason had a heated discussion with Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) Friday about the government's ongoing interest in the Roger Clemens matter.
I'm with the Congressman on this. Sorry. But it's a fun listen. Almost as entertaining as Mike Francesa and Chris Russo ripping Rep. Christopher Shays (R-Conn.).
I never have had an argument with a Congressman, or woman.
I once shook hands with Bill Clinton at a fundraiser in Little Rock in the summer of 1992. I assume he thought I was a contributor. In fact, I was visiting friends who worked for the campaign and was freeloading.

Now that WalrusStache, your pal and SNY shill has let the cat out of the bag, can you elaborate on the gab-fest Snigh has in store for Monday March 24, when they debut two shows ... one called Loudmouth with WFAN's "Continent" guy ,,, and the other called "Wheelhouse" ...
Two more talking heads shows. I dunno what the audience is for those programs at 5 and 6pm ,, must be for the pre-teen crowd and those stuck at home ... and it cuts down on the other talking head show sponsored by the Canadian-owned New York tabloid, and a local-news type highlights show.
Thanks, DuMont. I did break the news back in January that new debate shows were coming featuring Schein, Carlin and others, but had not bothered to ascertain the titles of them. This should be interesting. Maybe. Sort of.
Call me crazy but I like the show Daily News Live it makes a great night light the 1:30am edition for me.
when the weather man talks about the spring morning dew,he really wants to say the morning show is morning doo doo.and he get confused.
bruce, morning doo doo is to kind.
I can't stand Carlin. I liked Schein when he was on WFAN and wish they kept him but I hated his NFL Radio persona and was glad Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan took his time slot. Carlin's whole woe's me Mets fan and Yankee-worshipping is sickening though not as bad as his Rutger's homerism which I am sure will be a major part of the show if it lasts to the football season.
I can't stand Carlin. His treatment of caller's and his reporting, or lack thereof, of the Giants. Also his woe's me Met fan and Yankee worshipping is getting close to the level of his Rutgers homerism. I liked Schein on WFAN and wished he had a regular show on The Fan now (He'd be a better balance to Benigno than Screech) but his persona on NFL Radio is close to unbearable. I'm glad Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan moved into his afternoon timeslot recently.
carlin looks like a cartoon figure, and sounds like a grown up version of screech.
