I attended the NFL's portion of the Congressional hearings on steroids back in 2005, or whenever that was, and what struck me most about the experience was a little depressing:

It turns out many of our elected representatives are clueless, camera-hogging lightweights.

Honestly, l was not aware of this. We need to raise the pay for that job - by a lot - to attract a better class of intellects.

Anyway, good luck Wednesday, Roger and Brian. The good news is your expensive lawyers are smarter than many of the people on the panel who will be questioning you.

One of the Representatives on the committee when I was there was Mary Bono of California. I'm not making any value judgments on her specifically. I just posted this picture because I think it's cool she's with Connie Mack IV, whom I believe she recently married.

He's related to THE Connie Mack, so there's a sports connection here, OK?
