Neil, late to the party but I have a Mike Comrie story you might be interested in.
Back in 2000 I went to Albany, NY to watch my Maine Black Bears play Comrie's Michigan team in the East regional. The game was the second of the day, behind St. Lawerence and BU. Well the BU-SLU game went into the 4th OT so needless to say it was a long day.
Thankfully Maine won but late in the game one of the Bears best players, Corey Larose was called for a "butt ending" penalty which resulted in him not being able to play in Maine's frozen 4 game against North Dakota, an eventual loss as he was suspended one game for the penalty. The guy Larose butt ended? You guessed it, Mike Comrie.
