Redskins pass on Jim Fassel - again
I don't really care who coaches the Redskins, and good luck operating in that nutty organization to Jim Zorn, the best quarterback in NFL history named after a famous Long Island chicken joint.
But I do feel bad for Jim Fassel, whose resume suggests a better coaching hand than he has been dealt since leaving the Giants.
Here is a good story on that topic.

But aren't there some sort of rumors about him and thats whats costing him these jobs?
Ask Ted Nolan what happens to coaches who want to become the General Manager and don't get the job.
In any case we are dealing with daniel Snyder here, a real idiot, the second-worst owner in sports (only outdone by Baltimore's finest Peter Angelos.) And with not getting back into coaching Fassel can continue his new role as a Westwood One color analyst on the Sunday doubleheaders, where he really, really did a good job (usually with Harry Kalas).
