OK, I'm going to leave this subject alone now because I'm sure we have other columnists who will weigh in who know much more about it than I do.
I don't know whether Roger Clemens is lying or not, and for the most part I don't care - certainly not enough to sacrifice my tax dollars over it, and certainly not enough to give Congressmen an opportunity for cheap political theater on multiple TV channels.
(I don't excuse the media on this, by the way. Let's see if this many reporters show up next time Congress talks about more important, but more boring, matters.)
The last words from me on this are borrowed from Clemens' lawyer, Rusty Hardin, who was talking about soiled syringes but in the process summed up today's entire proceeding, calling it "the silliest poppycock I've ever seen."

Let me break it down:
1) Roger used, so did his wife; sharing needles is junkie/yankee chic!
2) Waxman is scum.
3) Hardin is impaired.
That is all.
Exactly how much "poppycock" does one need to see in a lifetime to be able to characterize this one as "silly?"
