Sitting in Lambeau: $588; sitting on couch: priceless

2005-05-04_DJ_23a.jpgThis is weird:

RazorGator, the secondary ticket seller, said Tuesday the starting price for tickets to the Chargers-Patriots game on its site is $131.

The starting price for Giants-Packers: $588!

I'm not sure what to make of that. There are more Giants fans than Chargers fans, naturally, which figures to be putting upward pressure on the tickets.

Plus this is Green Bay's first home NFC title tilt in 11 years.

Still . . . in case you haven't heard, it might be a little on the chilly side at Lambeau.

Ticketmaster announced they would have tickets for sale to the public for the Chargers v Pats game at 9 eastern today. No joy though, as they were all gone at that time.

Razorgator seems to have better prices than Stubhub, so may end up doing that. Thanks for the tip.
