Oh, my goodness gracious: a New York sports shocker
Tonight provided yet another reminder of why we love sports:
The glorious, dramatic, thrilling, unscripted nuttiness of it all. Logic, history, statistics . . . none of it matters, in the end.
The game is the thing, and anything can happen on any given day or night, and often does.
Savor this upset, New York sports fans. Moments like this do not come along often.
Behold: Knicks 89, Pistons 65.

do yu write this stuff just for Glauber?
Great ending, Neil. You had me fooled. Loved your article on John Montgomery Ward yesterday.
I don't know what was the biggest surprise, the Knicks winning an easy game (shown nationally on NBA-TV BTW) or a Manning brother winning a big game for a change. Don't even start with a Manning winning a Super Bowl last year. He beat a team with no wide receivers to get there and a team with no quarterback (which might have been the worst Super Bowl team of all time) to win it. He was/is/always will be a loser. I like his coach, so I will leave his credentials out of this discussion.
