Newsday gets much more out of much less

newsday.jpgI hate to acknowledge the existence of rival papers’ blogs - or of rival papers in general - but how can I ignore the shot Filip Bondy of the Daily News took Tuesday?

Bondy listed the sizes of the contingents from the New York-area newspapers here, noting how vastly the hordes from the Times, Post and Daily News outnumber the crew from “enfeebled’’ Newsday. (Roughly by a 2-to-1 ratio.)

Dude, check out the Web site and the paper.

We’re more than holding our own.

Lean and mean!

I wouldn't sweat it - I read the the 3 tabloids online every day (no Times for me, thank you), and have probably the worst criticism of Bondy a writer could hear - he's boring, and I never read his stuff.

nb,always remember, the pen is mighter than the sword.

Lupica and his oversized ego probably accounts for the 2:1 ratio by himself.

Of course, you could also point out that a panel consisting of 2 guys from the 'FAN and 1 guy from Sirius (with a host from SNY) cannot really be called "Daily News Live."
