Mike Bossy! Fran Healy! Better than the BCS!

Mike-Bossy---with-Stanley-Cup-Photograph-C10105818.jpegMy contract clearly states that any time a TV p.r. person alerts me to a show related to Our Islanders, I have to give it a free plug.

So . . .

Fran Healy sits down with Mike Bossy on the latest episode of "Halls of Fame,'' debuting at 8:30 p.m. Monday night on FSNY.

If you'll be busy watching the LSU-Ohio State game, the show repeats several times, next at 8:30 p.m. Friday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, by which time the Giants should have a large enough lead against the Cowboys that you can start flipping for other TV options.

Speaking of the Giants-Dallas game, the thought of having to listen to Troy-boy openly rooting for the Cowboys in one of the most important Giants/Dallas games ever is already making me sick....

I was thinking of starting an online petition for FOX to NOT have Aikman call the game Sunday as a courtesy to the Giants fans and to give them a chance to win (yesterday's rare Aikman win not withstanding). Sure it has NO chance of working, but I think I'd at least get some pub and be just as famous as that tool that started the useless Isiah rally.

Neil, will you help support this movement?

I do not find Aikman to be biased. Sorry.

Let's face it..the second greatest moment in Don Meredith's broadcasting career was him crying when St Louis beat Dallas 38-0 in 1970 (the TNT movie, which is pretty good, had the wrong team for some reason). If Ailman is biased, it would be worth hearing. Or just listen to the radio feed.

Maybe the 2 of them can talk about being successful in broadcasting despite English not being their first language.
