Bill Belichick wows another Super Bowl media audience

yawn8hm.jpgI attended the Patriots' interview session today to get my official Bill Belichick fix out of the way.

This is the third consecutive Super Bowl I have covered that featured Mr. Belichick and the fourth out of the last five, and I have learned once a week is enough, because all of his sessions are exactly the same.

Today's highlight, in response to a question about whether Tom Brady practiced: "He was out there along with everybody else." And how did he look? "He was out there like everybody else."

Later, a reporter made the mistake of asking Belichick about the Super Bowl's global reach: "I think you know a lot more about it than I do," he said.

Let's put it this way: I watched Tom Coughlin's introductory news conference on a monitor in the media center, and he was Chris Rock in comparison to Belichick.

Neil, whatever you do tomorrow, you MUST talk about this important breaking news about the Giants:

Sounds as thrilling as Mike and the Mad Dog playing "Guess the TV ratings".
