Pack-Pokes a popular attraction, if you could see it
The NFL was nice enough to send a bunch of numbers Tuesday that illustrated the following point: Many of the people with the NFL Network watched last week's big Packers-Cowboys tilt.
The game earned a "coverage area rating" of 14.6, meaning that percentage of people who have the channel watched the game. The NFL said that was the highest coverage rating on ad-supported cable since CNN did an 18.1 for an Al Gore-Ross Perot debate in 1993.
The game also inspired almost 2 million live streams on NFL.com, which showed portions of the action throughout the night.
An average of 10.1 million viewers watched the game, surpassing the combined viewership of the next three most-watched shows on cable TV.
Further down the cable list were the Rutgers-Louisville game on ESPN (2.1 million) and the Knicks-Celtics game on TNT (1.5 million). Each of those networks is available in far more homes than is the NFL Network.

You are incorrigible.
I wish that pic was of Scarlett Johansen.
NFL.com is a really nifty site. It automatically refreshes for you, shows who has the ball, what quarter, if they are in the red zone, and pretty much everything you'd see in the TV broadcast except the humans. You can even click on the game and see the current scoring drive.
Yeah, where is that pic of Scarlett already? Ann Coulter (which was a nice pic, btw)...but no Scarlett?
Come on Neil, it's all about the page views ;-)
Scarlett! Scarlett! ;-)
Thanks for the support, Phil. We want Scarlett!
Phil, Ken:
C'mon over to my blog and say hello to Scarlett.
