Just in case there is a Jets fan out there who has not figured this out yet . . .
There is more chance of my family playing touch football on NBC on Sunday night, Dec. 30, than there is of the Chiefs and Jets playing on NBC, no matter that the game currently is penciled in for that night.
It will be flexed into the afternoon as soon the NFL and NBC find and name a suitable replacement Monday.
If I were a betting man, which I am not (see post below), I would assume kickoff will be at 4, giving stadium workers more time to convert from Saturday night's Giants game than a 1 p.m. Sunday start would afford.

They won't know till Monday (Christmas Eve) - can't they give more notice?
They won't know till Monday (Christmas Eve) - can't they give more notice? Would like to know if its going to be 1PM or 4PM.
I'd bet the house on 4.
The bad news if they make the switch is that channel 5 will now only be allowed to show 1 game instead of 2. They can't show a game at the same time as the Jets home game. Channel 2 would have one other game besides the Jets in the other time slot.
Thanks for the good news Neil - Your The Best. Hate those Sunday night games... Football was meant to be played in the afternoon. One word "Directv NFL Ticket"
Just read on Green Bay Press Gazette's website that the Jets game has been scheduled for 4:15 pm. I can not confirm that with any other site. Why does Green Bay care? Same reason. Fans don't want a Sunday night game there on the 30th when potentially the starters would only get a quarter or half. Of course the Lions quit playing 6 weeks ago.
