For those interested, 1969 game 4 was preceded by "the pine tar game" and game 1 of the '96 ALCS.
And (though it's likely that NOBODY's interested) I was even more ticked off today about the Jeffrey Maier debacle than when it first happened. I know, I know .... get over it.
