One more thing: Happy 80th birthday, Vin Scully, the best ever and still at it.
Here he is calling an eventful inning of baseball in 1986.

He's even far surpassed his mentor, the great Walter Lanier Barber...better known as "Red."
I too love Vin Scully. His call of the ball through Buckner's legs is that plays when my computer shuts down at the end of the day. Thanks to MLB Extra Innings, I am able to listen to Scully nightly during the season. And when the Mets play the Dodgers, I always hope that the Mets game is not an SNY Broadcast so that EI will carry the Dodgers people (I don't live in NY, so EI is the only way I see the Mets. Also, I love Keith and Ron in the booth on SNY, but Scully is THE BEST. Can we ever get him back with Joe G. on a world series call)?
Happy B'Day Vin!
Vin has signed a two year contract with the Dodgers and he's hinting it's his last.
The best ever. Enough said.
