Dick Lynch recovering from pneumonia; get well soon

246317.jpgWhere was Dick Lynch, the Giants' radio analyst since shortly after the dawn of time, in Detroit Sunday?

He is recovering from pneumonia and was not feeling up to the trip. Lynch skipped the trip to London last month but had worked the Cowboys game at home the previous weekend.

Get well, soon, Dick.

There is something technically wrong with our blog operation today, causing it to work very slowly, so while the tech guys figure it out I instead will spend the rest of the day on my Tuesday newspaper column.

Feel free to catch up on my Saturday night posting binge. Or read Glauber's blog.

And enjoy the "World Championship of Darts: Las Vegas Desert Classic" on FSNY at 4 p.m.

Get well Dick! You are missed!

Does Carl Banks give the opinion that he is a bit of a know it all? Whether its during the game or when he guests on the Fan it seems that he believes what he says is gospel on sports and politics. Just one persons opinion here.

Dick Lynch was out. Shannon Sharpe was not at the NFL Today yesterday. Must have been something with the NFL analysts yesterday.

I hope Dick gets better quickly but I wish they would have taken the opportunity to give Dave Jennings some in-game time.

get well soon Dick! And then please retire ASAP...
