It took some digging, but I turned up my story today on NLCS ratings on our Web site and now am happy to share it with WatchDog Nation. (It's the second item; scroll down.)
The numbers are amazingly grim. Apparently the Rockies have not quite captured the imagination of America, or at least that portion of America that goes to bed before 1 a.m. on a work/school night.
The national rating for Sunday's Pats-Cowboys game was more than seven times bigger than that for Game 4 of the NLCS. Wow.

Neil, Lou is still with Boomer/Carton. What is he still doing there? (they mentioned him this morning)
Imus doesn't start until December. Maybe Lou would like a paycheck until then. Or maybe he's not leaving WFAN at all. I don't know.
barry beck played for the rockies. I loved barry beck. shot the puck barry , shot the puck!!
Strange Lou would stay there with Boomer/Carton. I am sure WFAN knows of his intentions all ready. I mean, the Imus rumors are all over the pages.
Yes, Allison, those rumors are all over the pages. But if you traced the origin of each and every one, you'd find they started here with the Dawg and his Pack.
Meanwhile, Mr. Best, what are the chances of a schedule change for the W.S. if Cleveland closes the deal in the next game?
No chance, CC. It's starting on Wednesday. MLB/Fox was tired of the competition from college and pro football on weekends.
Allison: If Lou wants to leave, WFAN will not stand in his way. He doesn't have a contract. He can pretty much leave whenever he wants.
Best, why doesn't Lou have a contract. Is it some engineer deal? You think he walks?
