ESPN is building a new facility in downtown Los Angeles that in 2009 will allow it to produce the late-night SportsCenter from the West Coast on a regular basis.
Since it's founding Connecticut-based ESPN has been accused by Westerners of an East Coast bias, and in part the move is designed to counter that and offer a California sensibility from a staff based there.
Yup, there also will be an ESPN Zone attached to the studios. No word yet on a theme park.
Well, that's 25 posts, seven more than WatchDog's previous record. I could do another 25 by the end of the day, but that wouldn't leave much room for setting future records, plus I wouldn't have time to do my Tuesday newpaper column - in which I'll review the first weekend of NFL coverage on TV.
So I'm done. (Obviously if there is breaking news I'll report it.) I think you get the idea. WatchDog is back. Thanks for reading and telling 10 friends to read, too.
