Kenny Albert will do Fox's top football game during W.S.
Sometimes I'm accused of writing too much about ESPN.
Lately, though, I seem to be all about Fox. But I just learned a smallish tidbit I figured I might as well pass along before going dark:
Port Washington's own Kenny Albert will fill in for Joe Buck alongside Troy Aikman on Fox's No. 1 NFL team when Buck is busy with the ALCS and World Series.
It's great when Long Islanders rule the world like this. The director for the No. 1 Fox team, by the way, is Merrick's own Artie Kempner, yet another in the long, long line of former Newsday paper boys who've made it big.
By the way, with Boomer's signing four of WFAN's five most visible hosts are from L.I. Joe Benigno and Craig Carton somehow fell through the cracks.

Neil, what does Jillian have to do with this post? Hmmm?
You could have posted a pic of Kenny...right Neil? Journalistic integrity...wow that's a nice shirt she has on...
Neil, your blog is awesome, keep it up.
Bob Glauber is going to get on your case again, Neil. I don't mind the pics of Jillian, but Bob is certainly going to call you out for putting pictures of hot chicks to attract readers. Hmmm. Maybe you're on to something here. I'm reading this. LOL.
Thanks LI PHIL and Ken Fang. I am infinitely more judicious in my gratuitous use of pictures of attractive women than are many other blogs. I always use among the most tasteful shots available. Newsday.com is a family friendly site!
