Watchdog

I had no problem with CBS' decision last year to pull the plug on its sideline reporters. When done well, it's a worthwhile role on a telecast. When done poorly, as it often is, it's a distraction at best and a waste of time at worst.

I missed it live. I spent 10 years watching NFL preseason games in person. I've fulfilled my quota for the rest of my natural life. But I'll watch Tony and Jaws Monday, I guess.
