Alfonso live from the Great American Bash, Update #1
The lines are already stretching for blocks outside the Nassau Coliseum with fans waiting to get inside to catch the sold-out Great American Bash.
But for hundreds more wrestling fans the main event took place earlier today at the Marriott hotel, where none other than the Ultimate Warrior signed autographs and took pictures with fans.
It's been many years since we've seen the Warrior regularly compete in the ring, but he remains in awesome shape and showed off his impressive physique today beneath the One Warrior Nation duster jacket he wore during his brief WCW stint ten years ago.
Decked out in red, white, gold and black face paint, the Warrior sat down and talked to me about his recent comeback match in Spain, training with Rob Van Dam, and rumors about making a return to WWE or TNA.
It was a big thrill, and I'll be bringing the video here in the coming days.
We've got just about an hour to go to the Bash, and I'm looking forward to some good action. Let's hope the unpredictable LI wrestling fans behave themselves tonight.
