WWE.com's preview of July's WWE 24/7 programming schedule says that the "shorties" feature for July will feature War Games matches.
I am SO there.
I remember watching War Games on Pay-Per-View in 1992 when Sting's Squadron took on the Dangerous Alliance, and to this day, it's one of my favorite matches, ever.
I think I've told the story about why WWE doesn't do War Games anymore -- sensitivies with the actual war going on in Iraq led to the formation of the Elimination Chamber match.
WWE 24/7 continues to be absolutely awesome.

24/7 is great and War Games matches were usually fun as well (maybe safe for Sid nearly killing Brian Pillman and Abby's 'electrocution' lol).
WWE's decision not to use the match format is in tune with their decision to change the 'RAW is WAR' name. It's obviously not a bad decision to try not to use such things during a time of war, but it makes you rethink some of their previous decisions. In 1991, they blatantly tried to play off of the First Gulf War. In recent years, the horrible decision to air the Hassan/Undertaker angle (on a taped show, I don't buy the excuse that there was nothing that could be done with the tape) on the same day as the London Bombings.
I guess we should be happy there aren't more examples considering some of the tasteless storylines (as an aside, I wouldn't consider the infamous Scott Steiner/Harvard Chris 'debate' tasteless for content, but execution lol) they have pushed over the years.
War Games 1992??? The first and best war games was in 1987, all others after that were hard for me to watch.
Come on, wrestling is as fictional as cinema movies, and if you can show "War of the Worlds" or "Cloverfield" or "Transformers" or "Iron Man", you can show Wargames or can let the name RAW is WAR, which was 10 times cooler than just only "RAW".
Because, wrestling is war and every match is a fight between two rivals.
I personally think they don't use the War Games gimmick, because it wasn't a WWF idea.
Abby was electrocuted in the one-off Chamber of Horrors, not Wargames.
I love 24/7. Probably the best value for the $ out there. I just hope they replay the beginning of the MNW because our cable system didnt get on borad until just last year so I missed about 2 years of great programming.
Umm...WWe didn't create War Games. That was a Dusty Rhodes/WCW creation.
I wish that all these wrestling people would quit trying to "rewrite" history that best suits McNugget's...err, McMahon's best interests (which is strictly his own personal ego)....
I was raised on Jim Crockett Promotions/World Championship Wrestling. The day McBongo and his family bought them out was truly a sad day....
