I've known PWR's promoter, Bobby Rydell, since my days interning on the Get in the Ring radio show, where Bobby was a frequent guest. Long before Edge made it fashionable, Bobby always carried a briefcase with him. He was also nice enough to let me borrow his ring for my blog profile photo.

Anyhow, I recently dropped in on a PWR training session and can attest to the fact that they have a hard working bunch of guys there looking to put on a quality product. And the Upper Room is a great venue for wrestling. Keep an especially close eye on Johnny Ova, who is in this Saturday's main event and has quite the bright future ahead of him.
