WrestleMania Trivia: The Third Time's a Charm
It's the biggest match on the biggest wrestling show of the year - the WrestleMania world title match.
Since the inception of WrestleMania nearly a quarter century ago, some 29 world title matches have taken place on the grandest stage of pro wrestling.
But only one man has won a world title match at three consecutive WrestleManias. Who was it?

It was Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Cena beat JBL in '05 at WM XXI, and retained against HHH and HBK at XXII and XXIII, respectively.
Hogan beat Sgt. Slaughter, Sid Vicious and Yokozuna at WM VII, VIII and IX, repectively.
Now, he beat Sid by DQ and wasn't in the scheduled main event at IX, but he did win three consecutive title matches at WM, meaning there is more than "one man"!
Austin won the title from Rocky at XVII and XV, and beat HBK at XIV, but missed WM XX due to neck injury, meaning it wasn't consecutive.
Cena beat JBL in '05 at WM XXI, and retained against HHH and HBK at XXII and XXIII, respectively.

the Hogan-Sid match wasn't for the title. Flair & Savage fought for the title after Flair won it in the Rumble (which also started the Sid-Hogan feud)
Hogan's match with Sid wasn't for a title. Flair vs. Savage was at WM VIII. Cena is the only one.
Correction:
Hogan's match against Sid was not for the title, Macho vs. Flair was the title match, but wasn't the main event.

Cena of course, who currently has the second largest undefeated wrestlemania streak with 4-0, all of them title matches too. Kinda scary he has already done something not even the hulkster or steve austin did.
Hey FiFo, you mean Cena has the third largest Wrestlemania winning streak. You forgot about the man who has never been pinned (thus never lost) at Wrestlemania, he got stretchered out last year, he is Edge!!!
