Want my 50 bucks? How about The Rock vs. John Cena at WrestleMania 25?

Watching the Hall of Fame ceremony last night made me remember just how friggin' talented The Rock is. Unlike other guys who come back and just feel old and dated compared to today's product, within seconds of The Rock's opening speech, he was already in a league of his own.

Here's hoping his little rip on John Cena serves as a wake-up call to Vince that there's a huge money match on the table if he wants it for next year's WrestleMania. I know Rock has said that he's done wrestling ... but if Floyd Mayweather -- who couldn't draw flies at a wrestling show -- is worth $20 million, then The Rock is worth a billion.

Back up the Brinks truck, Vince, and make it happen.

What did you guys think of the Hall of Fame stuff? I'm curious to hear what you have to say. And enjoy the show tonight -- I'll be in DC for the Nationals home opener.

Hey Seth...

I felt exactly the way you did after hearing The Rock last night. I only wish I was there live so I could have seen and heard everything he had to say. He's that damn good.

Enjoy the Nats home opener. Looks like a sweet park from the pics and the videos I've seen.

The Rock was hilarious but I'm terrified by the fact that most of the fans cheered when Chris Benoit was namedropped by Flair.

When I heard Rock's music, I got chills. Then when he started talking, he was incredible. I don't think he'll ever come back though, why does he need to?

I enjoyed this year's Hall of Fame ceremonies more than any other wrestling program I've seen in years, be it a TV show or PPV. It was extremely classy and well-done. Rock was awesome. JBL, Cena and Triple H were great, too.

Cena vs. Rock would be worth a blank cheque.

Whats wrong with people cheering Benoit? Maybe they are just remembering the good instead of the bad...nothing wrong with that.

Cheering a murderer is still bad.

THIS IS WHY PEOPLE GENERALIZE THAT ALL WRESTLING FANS ARE IDIOTS.

Yelling doesn't make your point anymore pertinent.

I, too, wish that we could have seen all of the Rock and Flair. They cut Ric down to 15 minutes on the USA broadcast. I hope 24/7 plays the HOF in its entirety in a few months like they did with last years event.

The man that commited the murder of Nancy Benoit and her son last June and then killed himself was not Chris Benoit.

Having the Rock back in WWE would give them a boost to their ratings that they haven't seen in a long time. Even if it were to just promote his movies and he comes back the month of or the month prior to it coming out with a big match at the nearest PPV sending him off to his next project, almost like John Cena, but 20 times better. I know if the Rock were to come back, even to ECW, I'd be watching every single second.
