CHUCK LIDDELL IS STILL THE BEST FIGHTER IN THE UCF.JACKSON IS A WANT/A/BE FIGHTER IN THE UCF
Chuck is not the best fighter in the UFC - he's by far the best striker in his weight class with a good wrestling background. He is not great on the ground. Rampage exposed Chuck's weakness, for the 2nd time (see their full first fight in pride, 2003), which is that a strong ground/pound fighter with a chin and not afraid to get hit bullrushing Chuck can get thru his defense and then take Chuck out of his element. Couture did it in their first matchup with Chuck, then became too hesitant to fiercely go after Chuck in their 2nd and 3rd fights due to Chuck's knockout power. Couture stood up with Chuck way too long in both of those fights. That being said, most fighters without a chin like Jackson's may get knocked out going in hard after Chuck, thus their hesitancy. Chuck is certainly a great champion, but like every fighter, there are always a few fighters who can expose their weaknesses. I would be very surprised to see Chuck beat a Dan Henderson or Rampage in the future, but he had a great championship run. PS: Rampage is no joke, see youtube.com for some very impressive wins against worldclass fighters in pride. Henderson is another future UFC titleholder - mark my words.
